FRDC is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for four people to participate in a five-day Fisheries Management course at the University of Wollongong from Monday 22 May to Friday 26 May 2023.

This opportunity is open to those who are new to fisheries management, those wanting to further their fishing careers and for people who don’t have any fisheries experience but are keen to get involved in the industry.

The Fisheries Management course will be led by Professor Alistair McIlgorm from the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS) who will also be joined by other experts.

Applications are open until 9am Tuesday 9 May 2023.

FRDC will cover the cost of the course, flights, accommodation, dinner and transfers for four participants.
